My Day 1

Second attempt at this post, I'd forgotten how to do it!

The dyed fabric wasn't that exciting. I added stamps using green Lumiere but they weren't very interesting. Next I tried puncinella, daubing on copper and bronze Lumiere through it. That made the green stamping pop out.

Stitching tomorrow!

Five Day Challenge - Day 1

Did one piece which I really wasn't happy with but found another piece of sun dyed fabric which I had rolled rather than just dried flat. Quite like the lines. Dug out the Markal paintsticks' Looks a bit tame but maybe will stamp over it?

We have actually done an Art Quilt which is also a journal quilt and we haven't posted pics!!!

Unitl now of course....I still need a pic of yours to send to Jane.

....you have started stitching!! I am at the moving it about stage!! Anywhoo I'm sure it will all come together.
Won't it be a hoot if working from the book we both finish up doing the same idea!!!

Soon as I started stitching I knew it wasn't quite how I wanted. Oh well, see what I can do to bring it to life

Your 25th gift is a result of picking up the book again. Only very simple but I found it pleasing to the eye! Hope you do to. Less is more in this case I think.
